First mentioned in documents in 1318, Weesenstein is much more than just a royal castle. It is a fortress, knight’s castle, baroque residence and romantic king's palace. Visitors are taken back in time by the castle‘s chapel, knight's hall, theatre, medieval vaults and restored royal castle kitchen.
