Baden-Württemberg / Neckar-Alb15.01.2014With teddy to planet plush
A couple of years ago Margarete Steiff GmbH company celebrated its 125th anniversary. On this occasion the company opened a museum where over 2,000 Steiff animals are exhibited. They all have a button in the ear. For both children and adults it is very exciting to find out about the history of the teddy bear and its animal friends. They are all exhibited on three levels and make a visit unforgettable.
In German and Japanese, visitors can join the teddy bear "Button" and his friend "Frieda" on a 20 minutes tour to planet plush. Why? They are looking for 3,000 lost teddy bears! Help them!
You can as well admire the biggest Steiff animal of the world: a 15m long snake, weighing 800 kg, that is winding itself through the museum and through which children can slide. This is real fun!
