Lausitz-Spreewald
Lausitz-Spreewald
Europe´s biggest scenery park in the making...

This region in the south of Brandenburg extends from Berlin to the borders of the free federal state of Saxony. Spreewald forest is a biosphere reserve with more than 3,000 courses of rivers and much of untouched nature. Whether you travel through in on foot, by boat or bicycle, the Spreewald always offers a very relaxing experience.

Spreewald and Lausitz offer over 2000 km of well developed bicycle trails. Labelled tours are for example Tour Brandenburg, Fürst-Pückler-Trail, Spree Bicycle Trail and Lower Lausitz Mining Tour.

For those who love to have thrills and excitement, Fürst-Pückler Country is the destination of choice. 25 huge projects of the biggest scenery site in Europe proffer something for everybody. At the moment Lausitz Lakes are built, a project including 30 artificial lakes.

We suggest an excursion to the pyramids of Prince Hermann von Pückler and his scenery park! Stroll through the Old Town in Cottbus and visit the State Theatre in Art Noveau style. The “green city” of Cottbus at river Spree will surprise you with a variety of nice details.
