The region Rhein-Neckar (also called metropolitan region Rhein-Neckar) is situated at the meeting point of the federal states of Baden-Württemberg, Rheinland-Pfalz and Hesse. With 2.3 millions of inhabitants it is the 7th biggest economic region of Germany.
