„Mummeln“ is alemannic term for white water lilies which formerly blossomed in large numbers on Lake Mummelsee. On a height of 1.036 metres the lake is located quite picturesquely. Visitors can rent pedal boats or see pieces of art of modern artists exhibited on an art walking path. A small hike to the close peak Hornisgrindegipfel is also worth doing.
