More than 250 national and international shops and many restaurants on around 84,000 square metres, that’s “CentrO”. Near to ‘CentrO’ is the adventure theme park ‘CentrO.PARK’, the Metronom theatre, Sea Life aquarium and Aquapark. Also the symbol of the city, the Gasometer Oberhausen, is worth a visit. Built in 1929, this former coke oven gas storage facility is with 117 metres height today the tallest exhibition hall in Europe.
