Shopping is gorgeous in down-town Hamburg. Whether European passage, Hanse quarter or one of the brand name fashion shops, you’ll be spoiled for choice in such a fantastic atmosphere.

Jungfernstieg is Hamburg’s showpiece of shopping. Shops invite along the Alster banks. Luxuriously but up-to-date designed Jungfernstieg is a popular place for strolling and window-shopping since 2006.

An elegant place is for example Alster arcades. Central location and southern flair turn a shopping tour into a real experience.

People prefering nostalgia should go to Wandelhalle. Once waiting room for travellers at Hamburg‘s central train station, Wandelhalle is today a shopping passage with about 70 shops. Of special charm is the neo-Renaissance style of this connecting hall above rails. An imposing 73 metres wide steel glass construction stretches on 9,000 square metres above the railway station.
