Visiting Bremen is never boring. Thanks to short distances you can combine cultural sight-seeing with shopping or a visit to a restaurant or café.

Numerous boutiques, department stores and shopping passages as well as shopping centres offer everything you might wish. Recommended addresses for shopping in the city centre are Obernstrasse, Sögestrasse, Katharinenpassage, Lloydpassage and Cathedral Court Passage.

But Bremen has also some most fascinating shopping centres: Waterfront Bremen, Weser Park, Roland Centre and shopping centre Werder-Karree.

Very delightful and colourful weekly markets and flea markets offer many opportunities to bargain. Whether regional fresh fruits, vegetables or junk, maybe even antiques – simply looking around is worthwhile taking a walk through these markets.
