Between Lübeck in the south and capital Kiel in the north lies the biggest nature reserve of Schleswig Holstein, called “Holstein Switzerland”, a gentle hill scenery with many lakes and situated not far from the Baltic Sea.

Holstein Switzerland has something for every taste: Nature, culture and various recreational possibilities. Bicycling and walks on the beach are promising fun as do sailing trips. Cultural activities and wellness offers are also frequent in this region.

Eutin is one of the nicest places in Holstein Switzerland. The Palace has a beautiful garden and is definitely worth seeing. This four winged building has an inner courtyard and is surrounded by a ditch. The palace lies in midst a wonderful garden in English style directly at a lake.
