Vivat Lingua! Language Training Programmes

IN THE HEART OF TÜBINGEN, ON THE EDGE OF THE OLD TOWN YOU CAN HEAR AT ONE SINGLE MORNING MORE THAN 30 LANGUAGES: AT VIVAT LINGUA! LANGUAGE TRAINING PROGRAMMES LIFE IS COLOURFUL, INTERNATIONAL AND FULL OF JOY.

Quite a lot of students continue to next level classes because the groups are small at Vivat Lingua! Ten students at most are in one class which makes it easy to practice talking skills and ask questions. Whatever you’ve learned you can use in the afternoon or evening at the city’s cultural events. Vivat Lingua not only organises language classes but regularly offers cultural programmes like a visit to the opera or theatre, pub crawls, tours through town and literature nights.

All other modern foreign languages like English, Spanish, Italian and French and even Chinese, Hungarian and Rumanian can be learned at Vivat Lingua!. In all language courses students do not only learn the language but also a lot about culture, geography and traditions of the specific countries.

SIT – Language Institute of Tübingen

The Language Institute of Tübingen is situated at the outskirts of this university town and attracting students from all over the world. For over 40 years now, SIT focuses on the subjects of language teaching, German as foreign language and intercultural communication.

With modern media and an own didactic-methodical concept SIT teaches languages optimal with reference to reality. Lessons are complemented by a motivated sports programme. Climbing tours and tennis are offered as well as excursions to Lake Constance or the Black Forest.

SIT also offers advanced training for teachers of German as foreign language.
